Check your voter registration by visiting https://MyVote.wi.gov. If you need to update your registration with a new name or address, the simplest way to do so is to visit any City of Madison branch library by October 17. Voters who register during this “open registration” period do not need to deal with proof of address.
Registrations can also be started online through https://MyVote.wi.gov and then submitted by mail if postmarked no later than October 17. First-time Wisconsin voters who are registering to vote by mail must send proof of address with their registration.
Between 5 p.m. Wednesday, October 17, and 7 p.m. Friday, November 2, the only way to update your voter registration is to visit the Clerk’s Office with proof of address.
Voters may register to vote at the polls on Election Day with proof of address.
