The City of Madison and Dane County will hold their annual home compost bin and rain barrel sale on Saturday, May 7. This one-day only sale will feature the Earth Machine Home Composter and the Systern rain barrel. The Earth Machine will be on sale for $45, tax included and the Systern will sell for $50 tax included.
The sale will take place at the Alliant Energy Center. Customers should use the Olin Ave entrance.
The sale will be held rain or shine. Bins and rain barrels are sold on a first come, first served basis. You do not have to be a Madison or Dane County resident to purchase a bin or a rain barrel, and you can buy as many bins or barrels as you wish. We will accept cash, checks, Visa and Master Card.
We will also be selling compost turners ($15) and kitchen scrap pails ($7).
