Halloween Fun in Mt. Horeb

Hello from the Mount Horeb Recreation Department! Since it is that spooky time of the year, we wanted to let you know about our CREEPY CRAWL event that will take place this Friday, October 28th! The Creepy Crawl is a haunted hike through a portion of the Military Ridge Trail. The trail will be lit with carved pumpkins and lined with spooks and scares of all kinds.

After the hike is completed, you can visit our “spooky nook” to visit our witch with her cider and play a game to win a prize! We will also have horse drawn carriage rides and a tractor hay ride for you to enjoy. This unique event can be enjoyed by people of all ages and we encourage costumes to be worn to add to the Halloween atmosphere. Caution to parents: this hike may scare smaller children. This event is from 6:30pm to 8:30pm and will start at the 4th Street entrance of the bike trail. Cost is $1 for those age 2-12 and $2 for those age 13 and up. We hope to see you on Friday!
