Upcoming 2016 Neighborhood Planning Grant Cycle

The Neighborhood Grant Program of the City of Madison Planning Division helps neighborhoods beautify gateways, create public gathering places, build leadership skills, or plan for the future. Since the Program began in 1999, it has helped neighbors take on some 300 projects realized with over 20,000 volunteer hours. What will your neighborhood propose for the 2016 grant cycle?

Please see the attached Program Guidelines and Application for more information. Also mark your calendars for a grant workshop (optional) scheduled for January 14, 2016 @ 6:00 pm (215 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Room 300). Grant applications are due on February 22, 2016 @ 4:30 pm. Check the City of Madison Neighborhood website for info at https://www.cityofmadison.com/dpced/planning/neighborhood-grants/1576/ starting January 5th. Questions? Contact Linda Horvath, Planning Division, lhorvath@cityofmadison.com, 608-267-1131.
