Dear VanChaMasShe Neighbors,
Spring is almost here! Our median gardens at the corner of Mason and Franklin are needing some TLC. We have planned a clean up day for SATURDAY, APRIL 28 AT 1:00 PM (rain date Sunday, April 29 at 1:00 PM). Please come and join us in this effort to further beautify our gardens!
On our clean up day we are planning to clear all existing plants out of the garden on the north side of Mason and rake and clean the garden on the south side of Mason. The city has provided funds for us to order hardy and colorful replacement plants to replant the north garden. The replanting will be done after the plants are picked up in mid-May. We plan to manage the south garden this year and clear and replant it next summer.
We hope you will join us! Please reply to Kay at kpresentime@gmail.com if you can help. Bring your shovel, garden gloves, knee pads, a spading fork, a garden rake, and a wheelbarrow if you have one. The plants we remove will be free for the taking!
