SUMMARY:Invitation to Draft Zoning Map Open Houses
DESCRIPTION:You are Invited To Review the New Draft City of Madison Zoning Map! \nOn March 29\, 2011\, the City of Madison adopted a new Zoning Code. The new Code replaces the existing Zoning Code which was last adopted in a comprehensive manner in the 1960’s. The new Zoning Code will take effect when a new Zoning Map is adopted by the Common Council. The City is preparing a draft Zoning Map which assigns new zoning districts to all properties within the City of Madison. The draft map will be presented for initial public review and comment at a series of open houses in September and October 2011. \nYou are invited to attend and provide initial feedback on the draft map at one or more public open houses\, which will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at locations across the city based on groupings of aldermanic districts (see map below and details on the next page).
