Madison is in a competition to win a $5 million energy prize. As a result the city is offering financial incentives for homeowners to have an energy audit and potentially make energy saving changes to their home. Also the city is promoting an online sustainability game called Cool Choices. Individuals that play Choices can save money, reduce energy use, and win prizes from Food Fight Restaurants, Colectivo Coffee and other favorite Madison venues while helping the City of Madison win the $5M Georgetown University Energy Prize.
