Hoyt Area Joint Neighborhood Plan – Public Meeting #1
September 13, 2011 @ 6:30 pm
Public meeting #1, September 13, 2011
Sequoya Library, 6:30-8:30 pm
What is a Neighborhood Plan and why do we need one?
A neighborhood plan is a document that establishes our collective desires for the future of the neighborhood. It complements the City of Madison Comprehensive Plan, adding detail for our individual neighborhood. The plan will address things like:
- land use and redevelopment (e.g. the Mount Olive church site on Mineral Point Road)
- traffic and transportation (e.g. pedestrian safety and bus routes)
- infrastructure (e.g. street and sidewalk conditions)
